If you are looking for the definitive Wagyu experience in Japan, Wagyu Katana is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between traditional elegance and modern sophistication. Our chef and waiter Mizuki and Nori were phenomenal people.
I ordered the Kobe beef fillet, and it was easily one of the best culinary experiences of my life. The marbling was exquisite, and the preparation was flawless.
Texture: It literally melted the moment it hit my tongue—no knife required.
Flavor: Deep, rich, and buttery, with that distinct umami profile that only authentic Kobe beef can provide.
Execution: The chef’s precision in cooking the steak to a perfect medium-rare ensured the fat was beautifully rendered while maintaining a succulent center.
