I visited to tick off a bucket-list A5 Kobe beef experience, but the service failed to match the premium product. Despite the website promising set menus, the in-restaurant menu only listed individual steaks from 20,000 to 50,000 Yen with nothing to accompany them. The drinks selection was equally poor; there was no wine list, and only basic saki and lagers. The venue felt cramped and run-down. Most disappointing was that despite our table having a grill, our meal was cooked in an adjacent room in front of other customers. Between the "meat in a suitcase" social media gimmicks and the aggressive push for Google reviews via QR codes, it feels like a disorganised tourist trap. Great beef, but a very disappointing and confusing dining experience for the price.
