We came to this restaurant in Asakusa quite by accident, and it turned out to be one of the most pleasant surprises of our trip. The quality of the beef was outstanding — rich, tender, and beautifully prepared. Even my mother-in-law, who normally does not enjoy anything less than fully cooked beef, tried the medium-rare Kobe here and immediately said it was one of the best she had ever tasted. The service was equally impressive. Our chef, a cheerful and warm Japanese lady in her early thirties, looked after us with genuine hospitality. To our surprise, she is also the owner of the restaurant. Her passion for the craft and her care for every guest could be felt throughout the entire meal. It is rare to find such sincerity and attentiveness these days. There is also a story behind our visit. We had originally booked another restaurant nearby, but the address they provided was incorrect. When we walked in here by mistake and showed the chef the confirmation, she kindly told us it was not the right place and even guided us towards the location shown. In the end, we still could not find the booked restaurant, so we returned — and we are very glad we did. Lovely food, lovely people, and a restaurant run with heart. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Asakusa.
