The broth was good and the chicken well made. But it is all shadowed by the astronomic 1500 yen they’ve charged me in comparison to the portion. I was shocked when the food arrive and I knew immediately I will need to go after to another place aster because there no way they’ll see another Yen from me for this absurd prices.
I’m working in the food industry for over 20 years and I had a ramen or two in Tokyo if you get my drift. Ramen shops in center on Shibuya. That pay 3 times higher rent. Gives nicer portions for lower price. Some with refill noodle for half the price.
The only explanation to this price is “Halal tax” which I didn’t even realize when I went there. It is called in the professional jargon “trapped customer” as he must eat in a Halal/Kosher kitchen when all establishments around are not. And I’m saying this as a Jewish person.
This experience is not even disappoints. I feel I’ve been cheated for my money. And there 0% chance the 4.9 rating is authentic.
Cheers.
