Absolute rip off. I don’t think i was served “emperor” Kobe beef. Maybe a few grade lower Kobe (which was good, not great), but i think this place tries to cheat you out of money because they cater to tourist and not Japanese owned. Tourists don’t know the difference in quality, all they know is the lower grade Kobe is still better than what they get elsewhere. Very Las Vegas cheesy spectacle. Was nothing like the Kobe beef i had in Kyoto at a small Japanese local restaurant surrounded with local people that just literally melted in your mouth. Very disappointed for a $1000 usd meal. You couldn’t tell the difference between my emperor Kobe (88,000 yen) and the regular steak ordered by the people next to us (shown in photo)
