I’m writing this second review because my first one was posted from another Google account — and I wanted this experience to appear on my main profile. Even though I’ve only visited once, the impression this restaurant left on me was strong enough to deserve being shared twice.
Kobe Beef Wagyu Katana Asakusa No. 2 Branch may be the second branch, but it carries the same pride and craftsmanship as the original. Opened just two years ago, it’s impressive how they’ve maintained such high quality and enthusiasm. The gold plaque displayed inside feels like a symbol of the entire team’s dedication, not just one person’s achievement.
When I arrived, I was greeted by another chef (I didn’t manage to catch his name), and shortly after, Miwa‑san came to serve me with her warm and friendly hospitality. The atmosphere had that unmistakable Japanese charm — calm, refined, and full of thoughtful details that make you feel welcomed.
I ordered the Kobe beef skewers, and they were unforgettable. Tender, juicy, and so flavorful that each bite melted in my mouth. What made it even more special was their house‑made wasabi and miso paste — absolutely delicious, unique, and unlike anything I’ve tasted elsewhere. Those condiments alone showed how much care they put into every detail. So special.
It’s a must‑try experience — beautifully Japanese, heartfelt, and worth every yen.
If the owner sees this, I’d love to know your Instagram so I can tag you — your food and hospitality deserve to be shared.
