Delicious and entertaining meal. We had the fillet, sushi set, and rice with a few glasses of sake. Kikyo was a lovely host and chef! Adjusting rating as I left the review prior to paying. Tip was requested and while not customary felt pressured to tip on an already expensive meal (~42,000 yen per person incl tip). We enjoyed our time but this was by far our most expensive meal of the trip even compared to decadent kaiseki meals where we were much more full. I imagine there are better value less tourist trap wagyu restaurants out there. The tip request at the end really soured our experience.
