We were super disappointed with this place. They were beyond touristy... acted so shocked we had a reservation and greeted us with a cow puppet. They then tried to upsell the entire menu talking is into a $600 steak. We have money, but not for this vibe. They then tried to upsell the rest of the entire menu. It was awful; felt like a trap. We ended up ordering a steak for around $135 and believe it or not, the chef was in training and getting lessons from someone. We were shocked they didn't realize we could notice this. Can you imagine if we ordered the $600 steak with a beginner chef? Also, we ordered Roku gin drinks and there was maybe a tiny splash of alcohol if that. Total rip off tourist trap. Super upset with the energy. The steak and food were overall pretty good but it was ruined. They also brought a tip option out and asked us to tip 20% which is beyond frowned upon in Japan. We wouldn't go back Or recommend anyone to go.
