Check the menu price before you come to the restaurant, also be aware of the mandatory gratuity - and they would also politely ask for tips on top of that mandatory gratuity when you pay. We came to this place couple nights ago as we were looking for dinner option nearby and ended up picking this place for its high Google review. We ordered 330g Kobe beef (different types), one beef sashimi and two beers, the total is USD$571. The staff is friendly and is committed to the show, which I give them the kudos. The beef is tender and juicy. Is this place a tourist trap? Maybe? I'm no expert of Kobe beef so I can't tell if the price point makes sense or not, but with USD$571 I would had decided to happily spend in several different restaurants in Japan. But if you're a foreign tourist and you're looking for the show type of dining experience (and you don't mind the cost) you may like this place.
