Don't go here! We spent two weeks in Tokyo and Nikko and as you know Asakusa is one of the most touristy places but KATANA was the only place that asked for a TIP!! And suggested 25%!! It's a complete scam - we were wary because of the area but the reviews were good - HINT Japanese people never give 4 or five stars - if a place has 3.5 or 3.6 it's legit and not touristy - if it's over 4 avoid it - tourists go there. We kind of got a hint when we saw how much miso and wasabi they serve you - a drop! And it's all a giant performance for exorbitant prices! The food is OK but you're paying 4 times as much as you should. We stayed and ate at top hotels like Dai ichi and this cost the same as that top ranked restaurant. Katana is made to rip off tourists. They also kept taking our picture for instagram though we told them not to.
