**review update** I’m updating my review below to express my honest feedback on our experience here a few nights ago. The chefs were extremely enthusiastic and high-energy the entire time which honestly came off as very “showy” and unauthentic. The dining experience was draining. I understand this was Kobe beef, however the meal was quite expensive for what was offered. Bill came out to be around $200usd for 300g of Kobe beef and a few pieces of vegetables. There was no soup, salad, rice included. I’m not too sure whether the entire experience was worth it. I feel the need to update my review below as we honestly felt hostage to leave a review at the restaurant right then and there before they brought us the bill. The chefs did not shy away from asking for one. Lastly, we’ve traveled to Japan many times and have dined at very fine restaurants, I believe this may have been the first time a separate sheet requesting for gratuity was provided. We are from the states and we’re used to this and do not mind leaving a gratuity esp if the dining experience was great, however this was very pressured. After having time to reflect on the experience, we feel that this was definitely a tourist trap, just wanted to share our two cents for future diners to consider. —————————————————————————— Great food and very lively atmosphere and enthusiastic Chef.
